Aims
and scope >>
This journal devoted to the rapid publication
of research results in the field of CAD/CAM with an emphasis on the
applications of the technology. Original papers from both industrial
and academic contributors are welcome. The papers should be well-founded
in theory and address practical needs
The areas of scope include, but
not limited to, solid modeling, surface modeling, feature technology,
concurrent engineering, collaborative engineering, Internet-based
CAD/CAM, rapid prototyping, assembly modeling, product data exchange,
intelligent CAD, user interaction techniques, computational geometry,
FEM/BEM, mesh generation, virtual reality, scientific visualization,
CAPP, NC programming, topological optimization.
Submissions >>
Submission can be made via
email. A manuscript file may be directly sent to any one (corresponding
editor) of the editorial members as an e-mail attachment.
Online Submission : Email
to Editor-in-Chief
As for the style of manuscript,
please refer the
template file in Microsoft Word. Note that the template is provided
as a recommendation purpose. As far as the manuscript follows the
requirements of paper format guideline set by the journal, it is
acceptable.
Review
Process >>
All contributions will be evaluated
by more than three referees designated by the Editor-in-Chief and
the corresponding editor to ensure both accuracy and relevance
(see the review
form). Author(s) are allowed to provide up to five candidates
of referee who can review his or her paper. Revisions to the manuscript
may thus be required and the acceptance of paper will be decided
by the editorial board based on evaluations. The review result will
be returned to author(s) within two months after the manuscript
is received by the journal.
Copyright
>>
By the acceptance of the paper, the
copyright of the published paper should be transferred to the journal.
However, the responsibility for the paper contents belongs to authors.
Presentation
of Manuscripts >>
Only the manuscript written in English
will be considered for the review process. Since no linguistic assistance
will be provided by the journal, poorly written papers will not
be considered for the publication.
The manuscript for the review should
be prepared in a single column.
Once accepted for the publication
in the journal, the file provided by the authors will be used for
the publication with minimal editorial touch. Therefore, authors
should comply the format guideline of provided macro file and example
paper in PDF format very closely.
Manuscript should be prepared according
to the template in the web page. The followings should be included
in the manuscript.
(1) Title page including an abstract of 100-200 words, less than
5 key words, the
name, address, telephone number, fax number, and e-mail address
of the
corresponding author.
(2) The main text with sections and sub-sections should be numbered.
Tables and
figures should be included at appropriate places in the manuscript.
(3) Acknowledgements
(4) References
(5) Appendices ( if any )
Style of
text >>
Units and Abbreviation: The Arabic
numerals for numbers and the SI system for units should be used.
Abbreviations should be clearly defined where they first occur.
Mathematical Setting and Special
Symbols: Equations should be numbered consecutively with Arabic
numerals in parentheses on the right hand side of the page. Special
symbols should be identified in the margin, and the meaning of all
should be explained in the text where they first occur.
Tables
>>
Tables should be numbered consecutively

and illustrations should be placed near the texts which explain
them, so that readers can easily refer.
References
>>
References should be cited in the
form of [Suri 87] and listed in an alphabetical order at the end
of paper. The following format should be used:

pp.63-89, 1985.
Suri, R. and Hildebrant, R. R., "Modeling Flexible Manufacturing
Systems," Journal of manufacturing Systems, Vol. 3, No. 1,
